About Us
St. Anthony nursery, primary and secondary school, Isiekenesi, Ideato South in Imo state was initially established on September, 2009 , during the 2009 / 2010 academic year by the assistant parish priest , Rev. Fr . IK. Nwagha and it got folded up as a result of free education given to scholars in Imo State by the state Governor Anayo Roshas Okorocha in 2011 / 2012 academic year.
When the present parish priest, very Rev. Fr. Dr. Livinus Obioha came on transfer to the parish, as a lover of education, he took it as a challenge to re- establish the Institution.

St. Anthony’s secondary school Isiekenesi is located in st. Anthony’s catholic church isiekenesi clan as one of the high institutions owned and controlled by the catholic diocese of Orlu . It was initially established on September, 2009 , during the 2009 / 2010 academic year by the assistant parish priest , Rev. Fr . IK. Nwagha and it got folded up as a result of free education given to scholars in Imo State by the state Governor Anayo Roshas Okorocha in 2011 / 2012 academic year. When the present parish priest, very Rev. Fr. Dr. Livinus Obioha came on transfer to the parish, as a lover of education, he took it as a challenge to re- establish the Institution. He recruited the school management, teaching and non teaching staff as well as admitted new students from jss 1 to jss 3 and the school kicked off in Ernest on the 22nd of September , 2015 . He did not stop at that but, went all out to see that the young secondary school was established formally by making necessary arrangements to register the school at the state Ministry of education with the assistance of the assistant parish priests, the pioneer principal and finally the present assistant priest Rev. Fr. Jude Udokwu who mobilized both the human and material resources to get the parish priest’s dream come through in 2017 / 2018 session by not only registering the school but went further to see that the school sat the Junior Secondary School Certificate Examination (JSSCE) in 2017 / 2018
The school has registered and sat successfully for the Secondary School Certificate Examination for a good number of times.
The school also has built and equipped school Library and the Chemistry, Physics and Biology Laboratories.
Moreso, the school boasts of having one of the well equipped Computer Laboratory with a Functional Projector along with other educational gadgets.
